Fairbanks Summer Solstice Festival 2024. The first official day of summer is thursday, june 20, 2024. The most obvious examples are summer and winter solstice, marked by festivals, a midnight baseball game, a fun run, and a fireworks show.
We have confidence that these dates will remain accurate, however there is always a chance of unforeseen circumstances that would require the date to shift to an alternate saturday.
